Center for Women in Finance and Leadership
Bryant University
The Center for Women in Finance and Leadership was launched to make meaningful progress through intentional, focused programming to improve the gender balance in the field of the finance.
The Center is focused on educating, empowering, supporting and mentoring our students’ exploring careers in finance through a variety of activities including educational and leadership programming, networking events, employer hosted events as well as mentorship and volunteer opportunities. Through the efforts of all stakeholders involved in this initiative, we will harness the best ideas of our faculty, alumni and corporate partners to educate and empower the next generation of female leaders in finance and meet the needs of prominent industry employers.
The Archway Investment Program provides students with real-world experience directly relevant to early and mid-stage careers in the investment industry. Students utilize industry-standard investment software from Bloomberg, FactSet, and MSCI to analyze securities, understand market developments, and manage their portfolios. Through the hands-on experience provided in the program, students develop leadership skills, teamwork skills, presentation skills, and investment expertise. They gain an important competitive advantage in seeking professional employment and developing a meaningful career path. Bryant alumni who have participated in the program willingly provide career advice, mentoring, and employment opportunities to the current Archway students.
